Cheryl Tang was formerly a business consultant with Accenture, where she was involved with maximising human performance through human resource strategies, performance management, training development and change management.
When she left the corporate world, she channelled her change management skills into her roles leading Credit Suisse’s SymAsia Foundation, a community foundation, and apVentures, a venture philanthropy organisation.
She has been a volunteer locally in Singapore and on overseas missions with organisations such as the Singapore International Foundation, Caritas Singapore, CHARIS, the Catholic Foundation, Singapore Cancer Society, the Singapore Heart Foundation, and the National Volunteer & Philanthropy Centre.
She has taught philosophy, philanthropy, social entrepreneurship and nonprofit management at the National University of Singapore and the Singapore Management University, as well as at nonprofit organisations.
